Swing That Art Bat: BEAT ATTACK THWACK!
BEAT ATTACK THWACK! was the first instalment of Swing That Art Bat, a series of events that took place at Access Space in Sheffield throughout March 2008. The art bat is a metaphor developed by Sheffield-based art duo No Fixed Abode in which artists possess bats that represent their cultural status. In the video below, visitors to BEAT ATTACK THWACK! negotiate their respective positions in the art world: the left of the hierarchical line being the bottom of the art world and the right the top.
